The upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death compilation movie will feature a new mini-anime, titled Juju Stroll. Akutami Gege wrote the original story, which MAPPA produced. The short focuses on Gojo, Geto, and Ieiri in everyday situations that are "different from the main story." The movie and the short anime will premiere in Japanese theatres on May 30.

The compilation movie was announced last year as a recap of the first part of the TV anime's second season. The movie will have the acoustic version of Tatsuya Kitani's "Where Our Blue Is" as its theme song.
The first season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime ran for 24 episodes in the Fall 2020/Winter 2021 anime seasons. It was followed by a prequel movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in 2021. The second of the TV anime aired in 2023, and it covered the "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs. The sequel covering the "Culling Games" arc was announced following the second season's finale. Studio MAPPA is animating the franchise.
The anime is adapting the Jujutsu Kaisen manga by Gege Akutami. The manga was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from 2018 to 2024. It was compiled into 30 volumes. VIZ Media licensed it in English; as of today, 25 volumes are out, and the 26th is slated to release on May 20, 2025.
